How do I replace the Prime Filter?
The Prime carbon filter is externally replaceable and designed for easy maintenance. To replace:
1. Locate the top filter compartment of the composter.
2. Insert the bottom of the carbon filter into the filter slot at the rear of the unit first, then press the entire filter in evenly. Make sure it sits level — press firmly across the full surface to ensure it is not tilted to one side.
3. Insert a coin into the round lever slots on both sides at the top of the filter and turn clockwise to lock the filter in place.
4. When it's time to replace the filter (every 9–12 months), insert a coin into the lever slots and turn counterclockwise to release and remove the filter.
