The Reencle Carbon Filter Refill is the activated carbon packet that goes inside a Reencle filter housing. It restores odor control without replacing the whole filter assembly.
What activated carbon does
Activated carbon traps the volatile compounds released as food waste breaks down, which is what lets a Reencle run in a kitchen without the smell. It also helps keep conditions inside the chamber stable for the microbe colony.
Replace every 9–12 months
Carbon saturates over time. Replace the packet every 9–12 months. Activated carbon cannot be washed or regenerated at home — replacement is the only maintenance step.

Feed a variety of scraps for a healthy balance, stay under the 2.2 lbs (1 kg) daily maximum, and cut high-fibre items such as banana peel and watermelon rind into pieces for faster breakdown.
