Yes, you can cancel your Reencle Flex subscription at any time. No contract, hidden fees, or gotchas. We cover the return shipping label as well.

This is not a rent-to-own program, as our Reencle Flex subscription includes flexibility, service components, future upgrade opportunities, and a lifetime warranty. However, you may still contact us if you are interested in purchasing your Reencle Composter, as we are often able to create an option where a portion of your monthly payments to-date can be applied as a discount against the listing price.

With financing (ie "buy-now-pay-later" by Affirm, Klarna, etc), you’re ultimately committed to a purchase spread out over a period of time, and are responsible for payments until fully paid off. With our Reencle Flex subscription, you truly have the flexibility to cancel at any time, along with access to special future upgrade options and a variety of benefits, including the lifetime warranty.

You can cancel your Reencle Flex subscription at any time by contacting us at support@fragile.co. Simply pack your Reencle Composter in its original packaging along with any other durable accessories that were included in the order, and we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.

Will my setup fee be refunded?

If you cancel before your order is processed, you will receive a full refund, including the setup fee. However, you will not be given a refund of the setup fee once your order has been processed.

Will I be charged when I request to cancel?

No, if you request to cancel, your Reencle Flex subscription will be paused. You will have seven (7) days to drop off your Reencle Composter or arrange for a pickup. If you do not return the item within the return window, you may be charged for an additional month based on your existing Reencle Flex subscription renewal timeframe.

Will I receive a prorated refund?

No, Reencle Flex subscriptions are on a full-month billing cycle. If you cancel before your billing cycle date, you will not receive a prorated refund.

What if I no longer have my original packaging?

You may be charged a replacement packaging fee of $175. If your Reencle Flex subscription renews because you are waiting on replacement packaging, you will still be charged if you miss your delivery window. Please consider this if you lose or throw away your packaging.

How do I repackage my Reencle Composter for return?

What if my Reencle Composter is returned damaged?

If your Reencle Composter is damaged due to user error or negligence, you will be charged for any replacement parts and a damage fee relative to how long you were subscribed and the extent of the damage, between $20 and $449. If the Reencle Composter is damaged in transit or some other reason not on account of your use, please report this to us immediately and you will not be charged. Please ensure you properly repackage your Reencle Composter and related durable accessories, as you will be charged for any damage due to improper return packaging.

How long do refunds take?

Usually, refunds are only issued to customers who cancel before their order is shipped. Transfer time depends on your bank, but funds are generally available within 7-10 days. Refunds are returned to the payment method you used when you placed your order.

We currently only support orders across the contiguous United States (not Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories) and traditional payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also assess standard risk factors, which is common practice due to the high value of the product (but this does not affect your credit score). If you forgot to complete your checkout or verification session, please submit a new order and ensure that you continue through to the order confirmation screen. As stated in our Reencle Subscription Agreement, we reserve the right to cancel Reencle Flex subscriptions at any time. If you believe a mistake was made, we offer a secondary, manual review process (link found in email for declined order requests) to help ensure fair treatment and opportunity.

Internal Guidance: This is a tricky one to answer because ultimately this often comes down to a large variety of metrics for estimating risk across payment methods (card declines...prepaid cards which are commonly used by scammers...) and more. So the most common reasons are pretty straightforward in terms of very clear risk signal flagging. In almost all circumstances, it is important to be careful about what info is relayed to customers. While we try to create as much opportunity for proving intent / authenticity and fair treatment (for example, our manual secondary review process they can opt into), we must recognize the reality of bad actors upon which the success or failure of a Reencle Flex subscription program heavily relies. Launching a program presents the byproduct of a target on one’s back, and it’s our job to ensure your pilot (and hopefully your future highly successful program) avoids any pitfalls along the way.

Due to further liabilities created by too much info relay, we do not recommend giving reasons too granular/specific to rejected customers beyond emphasizing that they can optimize their chances of approval by providing as much information as possible.
